At various times in our life, issues can surface that make our journeys more difficult. These can be echoes from past experience that find voice or immediate challenges that disturb and distort our view of the world.
Psychotherapy and Counselling assist in making sense of unconscious processes and behaviours. It facilitates the testing of our coping mechanisms and allows us the space to chose how we wish to engage with in both our internal and external worlds.

counselling services to children, adolescents, adults and couples for over 14 years

Providing confidential one to one counselling and psychotherapy to adolescents in a safe, non-judgmental space.

Psychotherapy allows individuals to deeply explore their past experiences and childhood relationships.
Professional Accreditation
John Searson is fully accredited as a psychotherapist and supervisor with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy.

John Searson MSc, has long had an interest in people and relationships. Curious about the dynamics between people and what each of us brings to a relationship, he trained as a psychotherapist from the Institute of Creative Counselling and Psychotherapy, Dun Laoghaire. John has also furthered his studies in working with adolescents, trauma, neuro-psychotherapy, sand play, complicated grief, child safety, self-harm behaviours and suicidology. John is also a lecturer in post grad psychotherapy degree and masters programmes.
